Safire is a world-renowned circus and fire entertainer, skilled in a variety of movement arts, and has a range of performance experience. She has performed in 16 different countries around the world, over 4 million people have seen her videos online and she has appeared in dozens of television spots, magazines, newspapers, blogs and more.
Safire has been training in the circus arts since 2006 and works full-time as a professional entertainer and fire dance instructor. She is the creator of Canada’s First Fire Dance Festival, has organized dozens of circus workshops for both children and adults. Festival Event Organizer
Planning an event takes a tremendous amount of work. As the creator and organizer of the Spin Out Festival Safire has tons of hands on experience with running a large scale event. From websites, marketing, tickets, venue rentals, booking caterers, DJs, videographers, photographers, and organizing volunteers, we’ve dealt with it all. Have confidence that when you book with us that we can troubleshoot and prevent a range of event problems. Spin Out has been running since 2010, continues to expand it’s offerings, and sells out every year.
Content Creator and Blogger
In 2009, Safire created an online social networking site for hoop dancers that included 20,000 members worldwide. The site and the forums have now been transferred to a new blog based site that includes a range of content, instructional videos, tutorials, resources, and information about hula hoop dancing and the fire arts community.
Online Course Instructor
While completing her teaching degree at the University of Lethbridge, Safire began teaching hoop dance classes as a way to practice teaching. She now provides several online hoop dancing courses through HoopingClasses.com as well as a distance training and certification program for those who are interested in becoming a hoop dance instructor.
